1967 - 1977: Groupe Huit was founded in 1967 in Tunisia. Its first projects are: Gafsa master plan, regional study on phosphate mines, study on Tunisia cities framework system, Governerate county-towns' urban plans.

1977 - 1987: Groupe Huit completes its first international projects: it takes part in the first World Bank-funded urban development projects (Mali, Haiti). Its activities extend to include North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean.

1987 - 2003: Groupe Huit implements new approaches (municipal contracts, urban and municipal management tools cf. Publications) and diversifies its activities in a growing number of countries, among others China. Over this period, Groupe Huit has intervened in over 35 countries.
It bases its activity in Paris, while continuing to provide services throughout the world. During this period, Groupe Huit intervened in over 35 countries.

2003 - Now: Groupe Huit consultants consolidate their team and their activities. They develop mid-term and long-term technical assistance for urban development projects in various countries (Sub-saharan Africa, Maghreb, Asia...). In 2003, Groupe Huit Consultants joins SCE Group, Engineering consulting firm.
